It is an honor to win the Pasteur award. However, due to the unusual contribution of both these research partners, this was the first time that the Pasteur Award was given to a team. In spite of a variety of discussions in scientific journals and photographs in newspapers, attempts have been made to make it appear as if only one member of this research team did the research, and that there was a single medal, which was awarded to this one researcher.
